Natalie G. Bergman

Novelist & Screenwriter

Natalie Bergman is a queer fiction writer with a passion for thrillers, both historical and contemporary. Natalie grew up in Sydney, Australia, the daughter of two Holocaust Survivors, which instilled in her a lifelong distrust in the status quo.

Natalie moved to California as a teen, getting her B.A. in Political Science and Women’s Studies at UCLA. Since then, Natalie has studied writing at UCLA, Script Anatomy, Sundance Collab, Joan Scheckel’s The Method, Austin Film Festival Ghost Ranch Retreat and more.

Natalie’s novels, TV pilots and film scripts explore diverse women and queer people’s lives, both historic and current. She writes female-led stories that deliver an emotional gut punch to the reader and audience.

Currently, Natalie resides in Culver City with her wife and two Persian cats. When she isn't writing, you can find Natalie reading, cooking, or vacuuming up cat hair.
